Weather Brief Jan 14, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - January 14, 2020 AM

Sunshine will make a return on Tuesday as high pressure builds in from the north with temperatures rebounding slightly with highs in the low 30s. A weak area of low pressure will move in overnight that will bring another round of light snow with some rain mix along the coast resulting in an additional light coating. Our weather pattern stays active as stronger area of low pressure moves through New England on Thursday with a better chance for snow that could result in around 2 to 4 inches of accumulation with periods of rain mix possible along the immediate coast. This will be followed by clearing and cooling Friday as highs drop into the teens with lows into the single digits to near 0. The cold air will set the stage for another round of snow which looks to serve up the greatest accumulation for the upcoming week. This will begin after dark on Saturday and continue into Sunday morning with early estimates of 6 to 12 inches possible. Check back for updates through the week ahead.
