Weather Brief Feb 20, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - February 20, 2019

The cold air is in place and clouds are rolling in Wednesday ahead of our next round of snow. Broad low pressure will push in from the west Wednesday night with snow starting around midnight continuing through Thursday morning. Some mixing of rain may be possible with this storm along the immediate coast but this should be a mainly sow event with 3" to 6" of widespread accumulation expected. Snow will be pasty toward the coast with temperatures ranging either side of the freezing mark with inland temperatures resulting in a fluffier snow. Snow will taper off during the late morning and into the midday hours with gradual clearing through late Thursday as sunshine makes a return.

We'll see more sunshine on Friday and into the start of the weekend with highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s. Another winter storm will roll in on Sunday but this one will likely feature more rain than snow with highs climbing into the low 40s.
