Weather Brief Feb 01, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - February 1, 2019

Friday was another chilly day for the Midcoast with morning lows in the single digits but we did manage to get a little warmer than Thursday as highs climbed into the 20s during the afternoon under sunny skies. Clouds will move in on Saturday as a warm front approaches from the south west that could lead to pockets of flurries across the state. The front will linger over the region on Sunday keeping clouds around with highs continue to climb into the low 30s.

An area of low pressure will move in from the west late Sunday and into the overnight that will bring low chance of rain and snow mix Monday morning as temperatures continue to move upward into the 40s. This will set the stage for more rain as another low tracks in on Tuesday. We'll see clearing and cooling on Wednesday with winter mix returning late Thursday followed by more rain and mild air on Friday.
