Weather Brief Dec 04, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - December 4, 2019 PM

After some sunshine early Wednesday, clouds have moved back in as a weak area of low pressure moves by to the north that will bring some light snow mainly to the high terrain of New England. Clouds and cold will linger through the late week with a small chance of light snow  Friday as another weak wave of low pressure moves by to our south. We'll see high temperatures in the 30s with overnight lows into the 20s.

Sunny skies will return Saturday as lows dip into the low to mid teens with highs in the mid 20s. Winds and will increase out of the south on Sunday ushering in milder air that will bring highs back into the mid 30s. This warming trend will continue into Monday with temperatures into the 40s as scattered rain showers move in. Rain will continue into Tuesday as temperatures continue to warm, reaching the 50s to low 60. This will bring melting to the recent round of snow we picked up this week. We'll see showers lingering early Wednesday that may briefly change to snow as colder and drier air surges back into Maine.
