Midcoast Forecast - December 11, 2019 PM

Sunshine has made a return Wednesday after a round of light snow fell Tuesday night. A secondary cold front will move through Wednesday night that will usher in another shot of reinforcing cold air with lows dipping into the teens and highs into the low 20s Thursday despite the return of mostly sunny skies. Windchill values will hit the single digits Thursday morning and in the teens during the afternoon. Winds will turn out of the south on Friday raising temperatures back into the 30s with increasing clouds through the day. An area of low pressure will move up the east coast on Saturday pushing another slug of soaking rain into the region as temperatures climb back into the 50s. Skies will gradually clear Sunday as colder and drier air pushes back in with highs into the 40s, then 20s Monday setting the stage for potential snow on Tuesday.
