Weather Brief Aug 08, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - August 8, 2019 PM

The Midcoast has picked up a good soaking with our latest storm system with rainfall totals mainly ranging from 1.5" to 2.5" with localized spots climbing above the 3" mark. These were timely rains after a fairly dry stretch of weather as of late making farmers and gardeners happy. We'll see a few more showers Thursday evening followed by clearing into the overnight and early Friday. We'll see sunshine return through Friday with a low chance of an isolated afternoon shower as highs climb to the upper 70s to low 80s. The weekend will feature pleasant weather with cooler and drier air in place with highs in the 70s and overnight lows into the 50s. There will be a chance of a few late day showers and storms on Saturday, otherwise skies will be partly to mostly sunny. We'll see more round of showers on Monday followed by sunshine back on Tuesday.
