Weather Brief Aug 08, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - August 8, 2018

Wednesday has been another warm and humid day across the Midcoast but temperatures are slightly cooler than Tuesday with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s instead of mid 80s to low 90s. This is thanks to added cloud cover and a cool breeze off the ocean. Some of these clouds have grown into spotty showers and storms that will remain fairly isolated through the day. Rain chances will increase on Thursday as a slow moving frontal boundary works through during the day with one round likely during the early morning and another during the mid to late afternoon. Behind this front will be a noticeable change in our weather pattern heading into Friday and the weekend as cooler and less humid air moves into the Midcoast. This will make the air feel more comfortable and keep temperatures refreshing with lows by Saturday down into the 50s and highs in the 70s under sunny skies.

Sunshine will continue for Sunday and into early next week but temperatures and humidity will start to gradually climb back up with shower chances eventually returning into the mid week.
