Weather Brief Aug 06, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - August 6, 2018

A Heat Advisory is in effect for Monday and through Tuesday with high heat and humidity making for afternoon heat index values into the low to mid 90s. Tuesday will once again feature mostly sunny skies, slow baking the Midcoast. There will be a chance for a few spotty showers and storms during the evening and early night before quickly clearing through the overnight. These storms are ahead of a slow moving cold front that will bring a few more clouds on Wednesday and the chance for an isolated shower or storm during the afternoon, mainly across interior sections of Maine. This front will continue to move toward the coast on Thursday with a better chance of scattered showers and storms during the day.

Skies will clear behind the front on Friday as cooler and less humid air moves in heading into the weekend. This will make for more comfortable conditions through Sunday before heat and humidity begin to build back in next week.
