Weather Brief Aug 14, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - August 14, 2018

Tuesday has been a gray and soggy day across the Midcoast as low pressure to our southwest continues to pump in moist air over the region resulting in overcast skies, dense fog, and rain showers. This trend will continue through Tuesday night and the start of Wednesday, but changes are on the way.

A cold front will move in from the northwest Wednesday enhancing rain chances mainly late in the day with some embedded thunderstorms possible. Skies will clear behind the front into the late week returning to mostly sunny skies with highs holding in the 70s and low 80s across the Midcoast. Humidity will also trend down slightly for Thursday and Friday.

Another batch of organized rain pushes in late Friday and into Saturday with clearing into Sunday.
