Weather Brief Aug 13, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - August 13, 2018

I stalled area of low pressure over the Mid Atlantic that moved in during the weekend remains in place Monday keeping the Midcoast shrouded in cloud cover with fog and the occasional light rain mixed in. This has kept temperatures cooler with highs in the 60s and 70s. This trend will continue into Tuesday with a slight increase in rain chances along the coast and milder high temperatures nearing 80 in some spots.

A cold front will move in from the northwest Wednesday enhancing rain chances mainly late in the day with some embedded thunderstorms possible. Skies will clear behind the front into the late week returning to mostly sunny skies with highs holding in the 70s and low 80s across the Midcoast. Humidity will also trend down slightly for Thursday and Friday.

Another batch of organized rain pushes in on Saturday with clearing into Sunday.
