Weather Brief Aug 01, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - August 1, 2018

August will be starting off with more hot and humid weather as another tropical air mass pushes into the region for the late week and through the weekend. A warm front pushing north through New England Wednesday will open the gates to the high humidity leading to additional clouds and a chance of late day showers and storms. High moisture will also produce locally dense fog, especially during the night and early mornings. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds on Thursday with highs climbing to the mid 80s to low 90s with muggy conditions but rain chances will be little to none. We'll see a repeat of this on Friday with a better chance of organized showers and storm late in the day and then again on Saturday.

Skies will gradually clear late Saturday and into Sunday giving way to more sunshine and slightly lower humidity but temperatures will remain toasty with highs in the 80s to low 90s. This trend continues into early next week with rain chances returning on Wednesday.
