Weather Brief Apr 09, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - April 9, 2019 PM

Tuesday has been cloud, cold, and quiet as we clean up from our Monday snowstorm but more is on the way. Another round of snow will start around sundown Tuesday as another storm system moves in from the west along a similar track of our Monday storm but will have a little less punch. Snow will fall through the night and continue at a light clip into Wednesday morning. This will amount to an additional 2" to 4" for most Midcoast locations. Skies will gradually clear through Wednesday with some sun returning for the afternoon. Sunshine will hold strong on Thursday allowing for temperatures to climb into the 40s to near 50 during the afternoon.

The milder air will hold in as we wrap up the week and head into the weekend setting the stage for a round of spring showers as a cold front sweeps in from the west. Rain will develop Friday evening and continue through the overnight before clearing Saturday morning. Just like our previous weekend, this next one will feature a good deal of sunshine with highs in the 50s and low 60s. Another storm will roll in Monday with rain for the Midcoast and snow to the north.
