Midcoast Forecast - April 6, 2018

An area of low pressure moving through the region will bring a mix of rain and snow to the Midcoast Friday evening and into the overnight with light accumulations. Precipitation will begin as snow then change to rain as temperatures warm during the night. Snow totals will range from a trace to 1" along the immediate coast and 1" to 3" inland. The storm will pull out into Saturday morning followed by gradual clearing through the day. A lot of the snow will melt during the weekend with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs around 40.

Sunshine continues into the early part of next week as high pressure sets up shop over the region with highs holding in the 40s. An area of low pressure will move by offshore into the mid week bringing some rain showers to the Midcoast.
