Weather Brief Apr 05, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - April 5, 2018

The chill of winter is back in the air Thursday as cooler and drier air moved in along strong northwest winds in the wake of Wednesday's rain maker. These winds have resulted in some power outages across Maine and bitter wind chill temperatures. Afternoon highs Thursday have dropped down into the 30s which is 10 to 15 degrees below normal for early April.

Clouds will increase Thursday night and into Friday morning as our next storm system moves in from the west. This will bring a mix of rain and snow starting Friday afternoon and continue into Friday night with a dusting to 2" of snow possible across the Midcoast. We'll see clearing heading into the weekend with a mix of sun and clouds and breezy winds.

Another mix of rain and snow will be possible towards the middle of next week.
