Midcoast Forecast - April 2, 2020 PM

A broad storm system offshore has stalled out and will lingering through Thursday night and into Friday with rounds of rain continuing. We'll see scattered rain showers Friday morning off then rain tapering off into the afternoon as out late week storm begins to slowly exit to the south and east. Between Thursday and Friday, we'll see rainfall totals ranging around 1" to 1.5" with locally higher amounts leading to isolated minor flooding. Winds will stay brisk Friday out of the north with gusts up to 30mph possible. Skies will gradually clear into the weekend with partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs holding in the low to mid 40s. Winds will be breezy at times on Saturday before becoming light on Sunday. A weak disturbance will move through Sunday night with a chance for light rain followed by partial clearing Monday as highs briefly reaching the 50s. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds through the mid week with highs back into the 40s followed by more rain on Thursday.
