Weather Brief Apr 17, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - April 17, 2018

The heavy rain has cleared out but the clouds continue to hold across the Midcoast Tuesday after picking up between 1 to 3 inches of rain Monday and Monday night. The broad storm system will be slow to move out with clouds and spotty showers lingering into Wednesday but mixing in with the return of sunshine. The sunshine will help temperatures hold in the 40s to near 50 for highs.

Clouds and more organized rain returns on Thursday as an area of low pressure moves through New England. Rain will begin late Thursday morning with some pockets of snow across central and northern Maine then gradually clear out through Friday.

The weekend will serve as a time of transition out of this gloomy pattern as we return to mostly sunny skies and see highs climbing into the 50s. Next week looks awesome so far with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 50s and eventually 60s by mid week.
