Weather Brief Apr 13, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - April 13, 2018

Friday has been a very nice end to the week with sunny skies and highs the warmest this week climbing to the 50s and 60s. Another batch of rain will move in from the west for the overnight along a stalled front draped west to east over the region. The front will sink south into Saturday allowing for spotty rain to change to spotty winter mix of sleet, freezing rain, rain and snow as temperatures steadily cool. Cooler air will continue to push in through Saturday night and Sunday with highs eventually back down to the 30s and lows in the 20s with continued winter mix possible on Sunday with snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain.

Overall, winter weather does not look to be fairly heavy and organized over the Midcoast but could result in some icy spots. It currently appears that more icing will occur over southwest Maine and into southern New England.

Temperatures rebound into Monday as a soaking rain moves in with highs back around 40. Some rain will linger into Tuesday with temperatures continue to climb, back around 50.
