Weather Brief Apr 11, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - April 11, 2018

Wednesday featured pleasant weather with sunny skies and highs comfortable in the mid 40s during the afternoon which is only slightly below normal for early April. We'll see a continued warming trend heading into the late week with 50s and 60s likely on Friday. The return of milder air will also bring along some rounds of wet weather.
Thursday will start off sunny once again but clouds will increase through the afternoon as an area of low pressure moves in from the west. This will push in a warm front and a round of showers during the early night with periods of rain continuing through Thursday night. We'll clear out into Friday morning but the mild air will continue to push in with lows around 40 eventually leading to 50s and 60s during the afternoon. Another batch of rain will return late Friday as the warm front that lifting north over the region begins to fall south allowing for cooler air to filter in through the weekend. We'll see temperatures fall back to the 40s on Saturday with spotty rain then into the 30s by Sunday with pockets of winter mix possible.
A soaking rain will roll in during the early week as temperatures rebound back into the 40s and 50s with clearing by Tuesday afternoon and into Wednesday.
