Midcoast contributes ‘Small Works'

Damariscotta — River Arts invites the public to the opening reception for its newest exhibition, "Small Works," Friday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. The show features more than 100 works in a wide variety of media by Maine artists, including some from the Midcoast. Visitors also can enjoy the Holiday Shop; and Michelle McCutcheon’s solo show in the West Gallery.

Bruce Busko, artist and owner of Rockland’s Landing Gallery, was the juror for this exhibition. Midcoast artists whose work was selected include Linda Leach of Camden; Victor Goldsmith, Cushing; Petrea Noyes, Lincolnville; Paul Karlsson, Rockland; Dianne Horton, Swanville; Geoff Bladon, Tenants Harbor; Marie Bickford, West Rockport; Henry De Mauriac, Bernadette DeCesare, Valerie Greene and Joyce Steel, all of Waldoboro; and Sandy Clement, West Rockport.

The show runs through Jan. 5. River Arts, Route 1 just north of N.C. Hunt, is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 563-1507 or email at info@riverartsme.org.
