Megunticook Rowing is having a car wash to raise money for boats and oars this Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Key Bank, Camden Market Square (Hannaford Plaza parking lot) from 10 am to 2 pm. Megunticook Rowing is a community-based, non-profit rowing program located on Megunticook Lake. We provide rowing opportunities to women and men of all ages and abilities – from high school to senior citizens. Our competitive junior rowing program draws high school rowers from Belfast to Damariscotta. Rowing is an expensive sport; professional coach time and equipment are costly. Megunticook Rowing is committed to making rowing affordable for everyone. We offer scholarship support for junior rowers. This car wash is dedicated to raising funds to pay for our new ( to us)  “eights”; sweep rowing boats that can accommodate eight rowers and a coxswain. Owning “eights” allows us to get more kids on the water rowing as a team and it is so much fun! Please support us this Sunday. Come let us wash your car!
