Meeting to discuss broadband costs Nov. 14

Nov 05, 2019

Waldoboro — The BugTussle Annex in Waldoboro will be hosting an open, public interest meeting Thursday, Nov. 14, to continue the discussion about the types and costs of broadband access available in Waldoboro and the Midcoast region. An update and summary of the recent Maine Broadband Summit will be provided, which took place at Thomas College in Waterville last week.

All interested parties are welcome and encouraged to come learn, brainstorm, and offer their thoughts on how to improve broadband internet connectivity and affordability for everyone. A meeting agenda will follow shortly.

The meeting will be held on the third floor of the BugTussle Annex (the former Taction building), located at 251 Jefferson Street, in Waldoboro's Historic Village. Guests will convene at 6:30 p.m., and will plan for a few minutes of social time with light refreshments before the meeting; the formal meeting will start at 7 p.m. There is lots of parking on the street and behind the building in the municipal lot.
