South Thomaston — McLoons Lobster Shack’s face masks are back for the holidays in lobster, nautical and seasonal patterns, benefitting the Rockland District Nursing Association (RDNA).

Over the summer, McLoons was able to donate over $3,000 to RDNA from the sale of masks. Shack owner Bree Douty said “the work they do is especially vital now in keeping our community safe and healthy.”

These masks support non-acute, essential, in-home nursing services for predominantly elderly residents living independently. With the community’s support and necessary safety protocols, RDNA nursing visits have continued through the pandemic, and are the definition of “flattening the curve.”

For more information about RDNA, visit rocklanddistrictnursing.org or call 594-4522. RDNA is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Handmade masks are available in multiple sizes with adjustable elastics to create a custom fit. Visit mcloonslobster.com/merchandise to pre-order by Thanksgiving for delivery by mid-December. Pickup options are available.
