St. George — Democrat Ann Matlack of St. George has submitted her nomination papers and has made the June 12 primary ballot for the Maine House seat that represents that region.

Matlack filed her papers March 6 with the Secretary of State's Office.

She has served on the Knox County Budget Committee, the School Administrative District 50 Board, and the St. George Budget Committee. She served briefly as town administrator in South Thomaston. She was also employed for several years by the city of Rockland in a variety of administrative posts.

Matlack also operated Market on Maine from 2002 through 2006 in Rockland.

The District 92 seat represents Cushing, South Thomaston, St. George, Thomaston and Matinicus Isle Plantation, plus the unorganized territories of Criehaven and Muscle Ridge Islands townships.

Justin Thompson has filed to run for the seat as a Republican.
