Marine Patrol aids power boat

By Stephen Betts | Jun 11, 2021

Rockland — A call of a motorboat in distress ended without incident and the vessel was able to come into Rockland Harbor under its own power.

The call came in at about 6:30 p.m. June 10 from a 20-foot long motorboat that got rope caught in its propeller. The vessel was disabled and was taking on water.

Marine Patrol responded and was able to help the vessel, which was located off the Rockland Breakwater.
