Many Art Loft options

Rockland — Professional artist/instructor Angela Anderson will lead the next Paint Night at The Art Loft, the downtown nonprofit arts center at 385 Main St., Suite 9 (lobby level of Thorndike building). The fun evening of painting, no experience required, and socializing will result in a take-home “Summer Beach” art work Friday, July 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Snacks will be served, and participants are welcome to BYOB. Cost is $35, which includes all materials. Anderson also instructs a three-session Acrylics with Angela course Wednesdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m. beginning July 19. Cost is $35. The drop-in or take-all-three course covers the basic principles of painting in acrylics.

Karen Olson will instruct a 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Camera Settings and Light for Lifestyle and Still Life Photography workshop Friday, July 21 ($60) and a 10 a.m. to noon Getting Started with Lightroom workshop Saturday, July 22 ($35); for more information, visit renukostyle.com.

Saturday afternoon, July 22, Nanfei Wang will instruct a Chinese Traditional Painting workshop focused on fish from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $35.Chinese traditional painting is based on the use of brushes, ink and Chinese painting colors on rice paper.
