Maine Lobster Festival Donates $1,000 to Local Police Officer’s Family

January 9, 2019 - The Maine Lobster Festival presented a $1,000 donation to Rockland Police Officer Ken Smith and his family. The Smiths’ baby daughter is hospitalized at Boston Children's Hospital with a heart condition. CarlAnderson from the Rockland Fire Department accepted the donation on behalf of the Smith family.

A benefit dinner and raffle for the family will be held at 1 p.m. January 20 in the Rockland Elks Lodge. For more information contact Anderson at (207) 831-9323 or canderson@rocklandmaine.gov.
