Maine Lobster Festival calls for open juried show

Rockland — The 70th Maine Lobster Festival is looking for entries for its Open Juried Art Show, which will take place festival week at Camden National Bank, 300 Main St. Any medium is allowed; the only requirements are creativity and a passion for art.

All entries must be dropped off at Camden National between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, July 31. Entries will be displayed Tuesday through Sunday, Aug. 1 through 6; the art will be judged Wednesday, Aug. 2, opening day of the festival.

Anyone is allowed to enter and everyone is encouraged to. Entry fee for students up to age 18 is $5, and there is a two-entry limit per student. For all amateur and professional artists, the fee is $20, with the same two-entry limit per artist.
