Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding responds to COVID-19

Thomaston — All Lyman-Morse employees who are able to work remotely are doing so. If customers need to reach someone and don’t hear back immediately, email them. Employees receive a wellness check as they enter the properties and anyone wishing to enter a Lyman-Morse facility is required to check in prior to entering a building. If customers need to access one of the service yards, call the service manager prior to arriving on-site.

To reduce contact between service yard employees, Lyman-Morse has temporarily gone to a split-shift system. This allows one employee at a time to work on a boat and also allows for a thorough cleaning and sanitizing of boats and tools between shifts.
