Local students earn first, second honors at Clark University

Worcester, Mass. — The following local students, Matthew Thomas J. Young of Thomaston and Samantha M. Fowles of Warren, were named to first honors on the Clark University dean’s list. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2020 semester.

To be eligible for first honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3.

Along with them, Aidan M. Giasson of Rockland, was named to second honors on the Clark University dean's list.

To be eligible for second honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3.

Clark University is a liberal arts-based research university. Through 33 undergraduate majors, 31 advanced degree programs and community partnerships, Clark fuses scholarship with world and workplace experiences.
