Join this 6-week program at the Waldo County YMCA and learn about the tools you need to take back control and better manage your diabetes symptoms.

Living Well with Diabetes is the Stanford Diabetes Self-Management Program. The Waldo County YMCA in collaboration with Spectrum Generations is offering this FREE workshop. The workshop will help people with diabetes to better manage their symptoms and their daily lives. This 6-week program features:

· Understanding the skills needed for day-to-day management of diabetes and related symptoms

· Tools for preventing low blood glucose and complications

· Learning to plan low fat meals and read nutrition labels

· Medication and stress management

· Led by trained facilitators, many of whom have diabetes themselves

· Free!

Date: Fridays, January 19 - February 23, 2018

Time: 8:30 - 11:00 a.m.

Place: Waldo County YMCA

Fee: FREE to ALL (you do not have to be a Y Member to participate)
