Wiscassett — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a total of 423 calls for the period April 4 through April 17, and reported the following local incidents:

April 8

Scot R. Hanning, 62, of Rockport, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1 in Damariscotta by Sgt. Mark Bridgham.

April 10

A crash occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Paige H. Nichols, 22, of Waldoboro. Nichols was driving her 2007 Subaru Legacy south when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.

April 12

A crash occurred on Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Andrew W. Anthony, 52, of Parsonsfield and Lawrence Reed, 36, of Waldoboro. Anthony was driving his 2016 Volvo VHD truck south and Reed was driving his 2009 GMC Sierra, also south, and making a left turn onto Winslow Hill Road. Anthony crossed the center line into the northbound lane to pass Reed’s vehicle when Reed made a left turn onto Winslow Hill Road. As a result, Anthony struck Reed’s vehicle. Reserve Deputy Michael Elwell was the investigating officer.

Jason M. Gallagher, 37, of Waldoboro, was arrested on six Lincoln County warrants for unpaid fines at the Lincoln County Courthouse in Wiscasset by Transport Deputy James Read.

April 14

Tanya N. York, 33, of Warren, was arrested for burglary and assault on Munsey Road in Jefferson by Deputy First Class Brian Collamore.

Aaron H. Robinson, 38, of Warren, was arrested for burglary and criminal threatening on Munsey Road in Jefferson by Deputy First Class Brian Collamore.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
