Wiscasset — The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has reported the following local incidents:

March 29

Ryan V. Blastow, 34, of Warren, was issued a summons for driving to endanger on Route 1 in Damariscotta by Detective Jared Mitkus.

A crash occurred on Augusta Road in Whitefield involving Nicholas A. Brown, 30, of Rockport; Codey O. Bell, 23, of Augusta; and Hannah R. Spears, 23, of Augusta. Bell was entering the roadway from Tina’s Daycare in his 2002 Saturn and Spears was driving her 2012 Chevrolet Captiva westbound when she struck Bell’s vehicle. The front bumper of Bell’s vehicle came off and entered the eastbound lane. Brown was driving his 2010 Subaru Forester eastbound and struck the bumper. Deputy Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.

April 1

A crash occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Stephen C. Carleton, 20, of Waldoboro. Carleton was driving his 2003 Oldsmobile Alero northbound and due to slippery road conditions and inadequate tires on the front of his vehicle, he lost control and went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

April 3

A crash occurred on Route 1 in Waldoboro involving Samantha M. Gonzales, 22, of Cushing, and James I. Bowers, 41, of Damariscotta. Gonzales was driving her 2004 Hyundai Elantra northbound and Bowers was driving his 2016 Ford F150 southbound, when Bowers reached down for sunglasses, causing his vehicle to cross the center line and strike Gonzales’ vehicle. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer

Aaron Heald, 38, of Cushing, was issued summonses for driving without a license and violating condition of release on Route 1 in Damariscotta by Sgt. Brendan Kane.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
