Waldoboro — The Lincoln County Fish and Game Association will continue to host its ".22 Rifle Turkey Shoot" on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse at the intersection of Depot and Cross streets.

The entry fee is $5 per person, with targets and ammo supplied.

Turkey shoots are a way to hone skills as well as spend time with family and other like-minded sportsmen, said Rebecca Morrell, club secretary. It is recommended to have rifles sighted for 50 feet prior to the event.

"Thanks to all [who] joined us at our two turkey shoots that we held in December, please consider joining us on Thursday, Jan. 4 and continue to stay with us through the winter," Morrell said.

For more information on the event or the association, email Morrell at becky.morrell@gmail.com or call 380-2428.
