Rockland — The Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., holds its sixth annual "Love Your Library; Your Library Loves You" open house Friday, Feb. 15, from 4:30  to 7 p.m. Soups, hot food, drinks and desserts will be served at the free event. Jazz duo Bill Barnes and Doug Kennedy will perform in the Reading Room. Local artist Susan Beebe will lead crafts, and there will be activities for the kids, as well as information about some new resources. New this year is a “Guess Who?” game where guests will have an opportunity to attempt to identify Rockland librarians based on photos of them from their youth.

Those with a fine-free, current Rockland Public Library card are encouraged to put their name in for door prizes, including an iPad and gift cards for local grocery stores and gas stations. For more information, call 594-0310.
