Sarah Crosby

Rockland — Rockland Public Library hosts a virtual concert by Sarah Crosby on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 6:30 p.m. Crosby will perform a mix of cover songs, ranging from Otis Redding to the Cranberries, performed in her own unique style. Her original compositions are inspired by real life and the idealistic world she inhabits inside her mind.

Crosby has been singing since she was two years old, with her first ever gig being with her Gram in church. Sarah taught herself some basic chords on the guitar at age 13 and began to grow her confidence in high school by participating in multiple musical classes. In her early twenties, Sarah began playing paying gigs in the Hallowell area. Since then, she has played in many other places around the state, both solo and with other musicians. Today, her love for music is just as passionate as it has been since she was a toddler.

The concert will take place via the Zoom platform. To request the link to attend, please email pking@rocklandmaine.gov by 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
