Library announces regular programs for children, youth

Rockland — The Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., offers the following ongoing programs for children and youth. For more information, call 594-0310.

Weekly:

Rockin’ Storytime, Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.

Join Children's Librarian Katie Drago for a musical storytime full of songs, dances, and stories for preschool & toddlers.

Drawing Workshop, Tuesdays, 4 p.m.

Join artist Catinka Knoth in drawing, with a different theme each week. This program is for children and adults, ages 6 and up.

Storytime & Crafts, Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.

Listen to stories and make crafts to bring home with a library volunteer.

Baby Time, Thursdays,10:30 a.m.

Clap, sing, and wiggle along with Katie Drago's songs, finger plays and stories. For birth to age 2. Siblings welcome.

Monthly:

Magic, the Gathering Club, first Saturday of the month, 1:30 p.m.

Newbies and experienced players are invited to play Magic with library volunteers. Library has decks to share. This program is for children and adults.

Creative Art Crew, second Thursday of the month, 3:45 p.m.

Paint, make monsters, build puppets, and more. Each month Katie Drago will pick a different theme. This program is for children and adults.

Lego Club, third Thursday of the month, 4:15 to 5 p.m.

Kids of all ages are invited to join volunteer and Lego Master Jon Newton and use their imaginations to build. Legos provided.
