Langdons share art show at Jackson Memorial

Tenants Harbor — Jill and Dave Langdon will show their artworks Thursday, Aug. 24, through Sept. 22 at Jackson Memorial Library, 71 Main St./Route 131. There will an opening reception Friday, Aug. 25, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Jill's featured paintings are oil-based abstracts inspired by oil spills in water. Dave's photographs also are abstract in nature, inspired by rust and patina on metal. Works can be seen during regular library hours.

Jackson Memorial Library is a nonprofit private library serving the town of St. George. It provides enrichment programs for all ages in the community. The library partners with Maine artists to share a wide variety of artwork with the community. Jackson Memorial Library receives a 30 percent commission from the sale of art.
