Knox County court news

Rockland — The following cases were completed in the Knox County court from Dec. 6 through Dec. 13.

William J. Desjean, 52, Stow, Mass. was fined $400 and issued a 90-day license suspension for an April 1992 operating under the influence charge in Rockland. Desjean had been stopped and arrested by then Rockland Police Officer Michael Moore after the Massachusetts man was spotted driving erratically on Limerock Street.

Desjean completed an alcohol prevention program but failed to appear in court for the charge. He came to Rockland earlier this month to clear up the matter and was processed at the jail and bailed and then appeared in court Dec. 11 to finish the case.

Other cases completed were:

John H. McFadden, 50, Camden, OUI, 364 days in jail all but 60 days suspended, one-year probation, three-year registration suspended, $900 fine; violating condition of release, seven days in jail.

Samuel Martin, 26, Biddeford, OUI, 150-day license suspension, $750 fine.

Chayse MacDonald, 23, North Haven, domestic violence assault, dismissed; domestic violence criminal threatening, dismissed; criminal restraint on July 6, 2018 on North Haven, $500 fine.

Randall I. Rickards, 61, Rockland, aggravated criminal mischief on Dec. 28, 2018 in Rockland, dismissed; operating vehicle without license, dismissed.

Kristina Hall, 33, Waldoboro, OUI, dismissed; driving to endanger, dismissed.

Todd R. Nickles, 27, Owls Head, criminal mischief on Feb. 4 in Owls Head, $500 fine.

Samantha Perry, 31, Camden, theft with prior convictions on March 18 in Rockland, two years in prison with all but 40 days suspended, two years probation; criminal trespass and misuse of identification on the same day, 40 days jail.

Craig Leonard, 76, Union, disorderly conduct, dismissed.

Melissa Griffin, 46, Rockland, impersonating a public servant on March 7 in Rockland, dismissed.

Emily Hyland, 26, University Park, Penn., OUI, 72 hours jail stayed until April 24, 2020, 150-day license suspension, $500 fine.

John R. Goble, 62, Grover City, Ohio, OUI, dismissed; driving to endanger, 30-day license suspension, $750 fine.

Miranda Wotton Thayer, 29, Dexter, violating condition of release, dismissed.

Shannon Cochrane, 43, Waldoboro, operating while license suspended or revoked, seven days in jail, three-year license suspension, $600 fine.

Warren G. Reynolds, 67, Union, OUI with one prior, 364 days in jail with all but 45 days suspended, one-year probation, three-year registration suspended, $700 fine; operating vehicle without license, seven days in jail stayed until March 1, 2020.

Matilda L. Hood, 21, Biddeford, trafficking in drugs on Sept. 20 in Rockland, dismissed.

Victoria Burns, 32, Appleton, fishing or taking shellfish from a closed area on Aug. 13 in Cushing, $500 fine.

Jason A. Littlefield, 36, Appleton, fishing or taking shellfish from a closed area on Aug. 13 in Cushing, $500 fine.

Melford K. Harvey, 29, Knox, operating vehicle without a license, $150 fine.

Brian S. Reed, 55, Friendship, attaching false plates, $250 fine.

Kristin L. Hodgdon, 44, St. George, operating while license suspended, $250 fine.

Martin J. Kalin, 59, Washington, D.C., operating vehicle without license, dismissed.

Tyler C. Rodin, 38, Cushing, possessing lobsters beyond minimum or maximum size on Oct. 29 in Rockland, $1,300 fine.

Brittany Barton, 34, Thomaston, operating while license suspended, $500 fine.

Linda M. Delso, 58, Union, theft on Nov. 4 in Thomaston, $250 fine and $80 restitution.

Timothy J. Woods, 59, Rockland, criminal trespass on Dec. 4 in Rockland, 48 hours jail.

Deborah D. Chatfield, 62, Camden, violating condition of release, seven days in jail.
