Waldoboro — All are invited to come to the Waldoboro Word of Life Church, 41 Old Route 1, Saturday, Oct. 21, for a potluck supper and a free gospel concert (a love offering will be taken) featuring Kindred Hearts.

The potluck is at 5:30 p.m., and everyone is encouraged to bring something to share. The music begins at 7 p.m.

The Newport-based Southern Gospel singing group has a simple mission: to spread the Gospel message through song and word testimony. Three siblings — Brian Woodbury, Amy Woodbury Dillon and Diane Woodbury Briggs — and their cousin, who is more like a brother, Kevin Lasselle comprise Kindred Hearts. Having grown up in church, their music is influenced by many gospel genres, but their family blend of harmonies is rooted in traditional Southern Gospel. The group performs a mix of great Southern Gospel classics, traditional and contemporary worship, along with original compositions that minister to young and old alike. Many of the songs on the group’s new CD “Something Good,” just released this month, are originals written by the group members.

All are welcome. For more information, call pastor Tom Rawley at 446-3288.
