Rockland — The second annual all-ages “Fins, Feathers, & Fur: Maine Coastal Wildlife” juried art show is set for July, to be juried by Thomas O’Donovan from Harbor Square Gallery.

Artists should plan to bring works reflecting Maine coastal wildlife, from a sea cucumber to a harbor seal, to the Maine Coastal Islands NWR Visitor Center, 9 Water St., Saturday, July 28, between 9 a.m. to noon (or find a friend to drop it off; one can make an appointment, if necessary). The juror will select items for the show that afternoon.

Items selected will be exhibited during the month of August. Artists can choose to sell or just display their work. Prizes for Best in Show and People’s Choice for students and adults are gift cards from Rockport Blueprint and Huston Tuttle and the distinctive Friends of Maine Coastal Islands NWR T-shirts.

For more information on entry fees and forms, visit mainecoastislands.org; come to the Visitor Center; or call 594-0600, ext. 5. All proceeds will support the Friends group and the wildlife refuge.
