Born in St. George Sept. 1, 1940, he was the son of Kenneth and Eileen Havener Morrison. At one point during his career, he was employed with Eaton Filling Station. Most recently, he finished his career with Ferraiolo Construction as a cement truck driver. Always a hard worker, his daughters remembered he often worked two or three jobs at one time.

On Oct. 27, 1962, Jim married Helen Pierce Newhall in Camden. Together they made their home in Camden before settling in Lincolnville, where they built their home. Mrs. Morrison passed away in 2003.
