Union — As part of the popular summer concert series at Savage Oakes Vineyard and Winery, Chris Isaak will perform Friday, Aug. 17, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 18, at 10 a.m.

In the course of his career, Isaak has released nine albums, 12 singles, been nominated for two Grammy awards, acted in several motion pictures and starred in his own critically acclaimed TV series. His legendary concerts with his longtime band Silvertone have entertained tens of thousands of people for more than two decades. Even his hair has its own fan club.

"I've never tried to jump on a trend, and I've never had to jump off of one," says Isaak, whose musical personas range from the rockabilly rebel ("Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing") to the brokenhearted crooner (“Wicked Game”) to the breezy acoustic storyteller ("San Francisco Days”).

The Savage Oakes music venue offers an intimate outdoor concert experience. Food and a wide variety of Maine craft beverages will be served. Tickets, $75 in advance, are festival-style general admission with guests invited to bring along lawn chairs and blankets.
