Camden — The Friends of Music Concert Series, an outreach program of the First Congregational Church of Camden, will welcome Grammy-nominated pianist Petronel Malan for a 4 p.m. concert Sunday, April 22. The church is at the corner of Elm and Free streets, by the Route 1 light.

South African pianist Malan’s uniquely captivating style has won her multiple Grammy nods and made her a gold medalist of several international piano competitions. She performs worldwide.

“First Congregational Church of Camden is very fortunate to feature such a high-caliber performer as part of its Friends of Music concert series this year,” said Matt Mainster, director of music for the church. “We hope to fill the sanctuary for this concert, which promises to be spectacular!”

Friends of Music concerts are free and open to the public, with donations to sustain the program cheerfully accepted at the door. For more information, call the church office at 236-4821.
