In honor of 60th anniversary, Hall's donates flags, plans barbecue

Waldoboro — Hall Funeral and Cremation Service donated to the “Flags for Waldoboro” program to help purchase flags that will be displayed in the town. Mike and Liz Hall presented the check to Ellen Winchenbach, representing the town of Waldoboro, and Bill Blodgett, representing the Waldoboro Lions Club.

Hall’s will express its continued commitment to the communities of Lincoln and Knox counties with donations to local community causes each month until the end of the year.

Hall’s will celebrate its 60th anniversary by hosting a community barbecue with live music and a bouncy house for kids Saturday, Aug. 18, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St. The event is free and all community members are welcome.
