Hyssongs perform at Littlefield

The Hyssongs’ most recent song, “Let the Hallelujahs Ring,” is their first No. 1 song on the Singing News Radio Charts.

Rockland — The Hyssongs will present a concert of gospel music Sunday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m. at Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church, 1 Waldo Ave.

Dell, Susan, and Richard Hyssong travel full-time as the award-winning Hyssongs. Their energetic family ministry combines vocal harmony, humor and brass instruments (trumpet and trombone).

The group, which has a classical music background, has been singing together as a family for 20 years. In that time, the Hyssongs have received many accolades for their quality, inspirational Southern Gospel sound. They were awarded the Singing News Fan Award for 2014 Favorite New Trio at the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Every year since, they have been voted Top 10 Trio of the Year.

The Hyssongs can be heard regularly on Southern Gospel radio stations and Sirius XM EnLighten. The Hyssongs have been on several music magazine covers and the family is featured in numerous articles. Absolutely Gospel.com the group among 10 artists to watch in 2015; and their CD “Faith & Family” was voted a Top 10 album of the year for 2017 by Singing News Fans. The group also has been featured on Paul Heil's "The Gospel Greats" radio program.

The Hyssongs perform at more than 225 events each year throughout the United States and Canada. They have had the opportunity to sing to an audience of more than 12,000 people on the main stage at the National Quartet Convention, as well as at Renfro Valley’s All-Night Sing. They perform annually at Dollywood and Silver Dollar City; and through Compassion International, they had the privilege to visit El Salvador in Central America.
