Pictured is a detail of a postcard titled "C. M. Power House, Glen Cove, Maine." The powerhouse was originally built to power the trolley system which ran from Warren through Rockland to Camden. The trolley tracks are still visible in this photo of Powerhouse Hill. Trolley service ended in 1931 and Central Maine Power bought up the generating plant.
