Pictured is the crew at the Camden Anchor Works. Up until 1908, the Anchor Works produced anchors of all sizes from small to 4-ton monsters. The Anchor Works was located on what is now the Public Landing and drew power from the dam on the Megunticook River. Note the small-model anchor on the ground.
