Halloweeny ‘Hotel’ for Family Movie & Pizza

Oct 04, 2018
The monsters of “Hotel Transylvania” are just scary enough.

Thomaston — Thomaston Public Library’s monthly free movie and pizza night for families Monday, Oct. 15, at 5 p.m. will screen the Halloween season perfect “Hotel Transylvania” (2012, USA). All films are closed captioned for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Hotel Transylvania is Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up and no humans are allowed. One special weekend, Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler) invites all his best friends — Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, the Werewolf family and more — to celebrate his beloved daughter Mavis’ (Selena Gomez) 118th birthday. But an “ordinary guy” (Andy Samberg) stumbles into the hotel and changes everything.

Family Movie & Pizza Nights are open to all, and pajamas are welcome. For more information, call 354-2453. The library is in the Thomaston Academy building, 60 Main St./Route 1; parking and handicap access is in the rear.
