Guided hike to look for often-missed plants Sept. 23

Sep 14, 2017

Camden — As part of the Coastal Mountains Nature Program series, Ralph Pope, author of the just-published “Mosses, Liverworts and Hornworts: A Field Guide to Common Bryophytes of the Northeast,” will lead a walk Saturday, Sept. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon. The walk takes place on the Kuller Trail at the Camden Snow Bowl and will focus on the tiny plants that are often overlooked.

Meet in the parking lot of the Camden Snow Bowl. Bring a hand magnifier lens (jeweler's loupe), which can be purchased inexpensively online (10x recommended; search under “10x jewelers loupe”).
