Grossman paintings at Sanctuary

Jun 24, 2018
Owls Head artist Judy Grossman brings her work to Rockland Congregational Church’s Sanctuary Gallery in July.

Rockland — Artist Judy Grossman will return to the Sanctuary Gallery of Rockland Congregational Church with a new showing of her paintings Sunday, July 1. The show will open with an 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. reception and continue until July 26.

Grossman is a self-taught artist, but not until she retired from her interior design business did she take seriously what she always considered a hobby: painting. She continues to experiment with various media including acrylics, watercolor and oil; and is recognized for her exceptional animal portraits and seascapes.

The gallery is located via the upper level parking lot of the church, 180 Limerock St., and is handicapped accessible. For Sanctuary Gallery hours, call the church office, 594-8656.
